Self Scientific- For the J's f. Krondon and Phil Da Agony

I know a lot of you are fiendin’ for the DJ Khalil x Clipse joint and am wondering what information I’m holding off on. Soon, my friends… soon (maybe, it’s not up to me). Anyways… this song is off a project Self Scientific did called Designer Music that has yet to see the light of day. The concept goes as followed (words by Chace Infinite):

Design oriented art has taken precedence over the music causing people to cater their music to ‘lifestyles’ or certain types of people, all identified under the title of street wear or hipsters….all of the songs are about the nuances that created that scene.

The project features Evidence, Krondon, Phil da Agony, Mitchy Slick, Mistah F.A.B., The Alchemist, M1 (of Dead Prez) and Bishop Lamont. The track I’ve included is about the early Jordan era.

I’m becoming more and more a fan of this guy ever since the Crow dropped him a while back. Just saw the video for his first single the other night on Jams and thought I would get it up for all to see. Enjoy….

Magnetic Fader Testing

The engineers at Rane employed a sewing machine to test the durability of the magnetic fader. Each stroke generated one count. We have it set to apply a million strokes to the fader every day. We tested 13 million strokes before we got tired of hearing the darn thing, and the fader shows absolutely no wear or degradation.
